I learned how to crochette a teddy bear this weekend. I've always wanted to learn that, but I'm terrible at trying to figure out what the pattern books say; I've been sticking with making really really really big granny squares (although I'm half-way through a blanket that I made up the pattern to) I generally have to have someone tell me what to do, show me once, and then I can do it. Which is how I made my teddy bear. My sister was making them for her friends and kids for Christmas and b-day presents, and I thought it looked neat and asked if she'd show me. She did, and I completed it in two hours.

I'm so proud of myself :)

Here's a picture of him. He's a squirrel wanna-be :P
