I got Photoshop...

It came with my brother's new laptop (yeah, he bought a laptop when he could have saved his money for other things, but I digress) and he gave it to me. Because I'll actually use it.

I still like my GIMP, but having Photoshop means I'll have a better chance at getting some of these jobs I've been applying for. Somehow, I don't think they really liked it when I sent in a .xcf file instead of a .pdf with the explanation that GIMP is just as powerful as PS, only it's FREEWARE meaning it'll save the company money.

Now, I'm going to go see if I can't do the whole comicbook effect with GIMP.

The Photoshop I learned how to do from this tutorial.

I might write one for the GIMP version, but it's fairly easy to convert (if you know where everything is in GIMP that is...took me forever to find Threshold, and it was right in front of my face the whole time).
