Well, it took me a bit to figure out how to make an animated gif using Photoshop CS3, but I finally figured it out. Now, I can't seem to stop...especially since I have a Pokemon movie on my hard drive for making my nephew some music videos. Plus, I also have Illustrator, so I can make some cute little drawings like the teddy bear icon I'm using for this post.

I should be writing, and technically, I'm writing right now, but it doesn't really count.

I came up with a couple of worlds the other day, just by drawing a map. Okay, they didn't start out as maps at first, just some lines and dots and little upside down v's that my subconscious turned into maps. Now, I just need to figure out the history of those two worlds and pick a point I want to write a story in, even if they're just short stories.

Only, I'm having entirely too much fun playing with Photoshop...

You don't have to be able to draw...just make a bunch of squiggly lines and call them rivers...a bunch of upside down v's and call them mountain ranges...dots can be cities a few squares can be ancient ruins...

The pen tool is probably the most versatile in Illustrator, and also the one that is hardest to learn how to control. But it's fun.

Heh, the teddy bear is just a bunch of elipses all stuck together and judicious use of the pathfinder tool.
